Judicial Vacancies

One of the duties vested in the Idaho Judicial Council by Idaho Code § 1-2101(3) is to nominate qualified individuals to fill vacancies in the Idaho Supreme Court, Idaho Court of Appeals, and Idaho District Courts. From the Council's list of vetted nominees, the Governor appoints judges and justices to fill these vacancies.
